Ok I admit that my absense from the blogging community will bear no excuse. However I have actually decided to post. So what's been keeping me so busy? del.icio.us has taken over my life!
I have found myself frantically checking del.icio.us/tag/xxx (insert "/"tag and then "/"one word topic of choice for xxx). I pull up oishii frequently. Also among my daily site visits enclude trendalicious. Other favorites of mine are off.icio.us as well as Del.icio.us popular sites. And it's new but seemingly interesting de.lirio.us. Insert - A tip for delicious from me. I used to write long emails to each of my friends that ended up being just a long list of links with short desciptions. This was time consuming and email cluttering my online life. Now I have created tags for each of my friends on my delicious and when I browse onto a site they would be interested in I just use foxylicious to just right click and add to delicious with their tag. I've informed them that they can subscribe to my tag for them and wolia all the links I come across that I know they would want to see along with descriptions are magically in their inbox for delicious. This is also great for a group of peers to "leech" links off of each other's research which naturally lends to the "socialness" that is the point of delicious in the first place.
Insert 2 - Umm, if you check out my blog you will find in a somewhat contradicting post that I've been doing the delicious thing for some time now. Yes delicious is not new and fresh! By design it will only get better as time goes on and more people with more different interests sign up! This is evidenced by the recent obsession I've admitted to. Everyone should go to del.icio.us and sign up right away! Next you should post your favorite sites on a daily basis. Now all should go vote Bo! See below!
If you frequent Webgrits then you know my girlfriend posts about and live/DVR blogs American Idol. Yes I endure this show that I thought "as a guy" was cheesy the past season. Now between visits to oishii and trendalicious I look up to see Bo Bice! This guy rocks! Ok I didn't mean that to sound too "funny" no really I didn't mean anything by it. I just think he is a talented individual whom just happens to be from a small town close to me so thats a plus in my book. Anything to put Somerville on the map guys - I have made service calls to Brewer High / Somerville area and have friends from there too. I know it's pretty far out of the lights of Decatur, AL (as if Decatur is a big city. LOL) Everyone out there please vote for Bo!
